Okay well... apologies! I have had perhaps the most horrendous but exciting 3 months of my life! Things have been crazy and I've cried lots and my new job is perhaps the most challenging thing I have ever done in my life but today i thought that's it I've had enough and I'm going to do something for me! so i sat at break at lunch today and typed up this on my iphone! It's not been betad but I haven't written in so long I just want to post something. Its taken a while for me to get this chapter sorted into what i wanted but finally today i think i managed it. Big huge thank you to punky_96 for reading through my first attempt of this three months ago.
Hope you all enjoy it and I'm writing part 9 now so hope to have that up very soon.

AN: The power cut has thrown my whole week out of sync but I now have this planned out till the end. It took me ages to decide whether or not Miranda was too OOC in this chapter but after lots of re reads and writes i think it fits and that it will fit with the rest of the story...(I don't know who I'm trying to convince you or me)

well!!
I got in on monday night and thought I'll do some writing but decided it was late and i'd be better off going to sleep and getting it done in the morning.
Tuesday morning i wake up to find everything in my house is off.... the house across the road have their TV on so i automatically assume the worst, phone my husband and demand to know why he didn't pay our bill.
Turns out the bill had been paid ( sorry hubby!) so i look outside to discover some confused workmen standing on the next street. I phone my electric company who gave me another number to call at which point i am told
"Oh... Contracters cut through a cable it will be back on by 9pm"
Needless to say when i got in from work at 11:30pm there was still no power. i was then told it will be on in the "early hours of the morning" But then got told "About 10am..."
This afternoon at 13:45 my power came back on!!! so i am dancing around to Snap! - The Power in celebration.
Don't worry i didn't completely skive off during my powerless hours i did hand write a bit so i'll be typing that up shortly :D
